Toinen kerros: Kylpyhuone. The second floor: The Bathroom.

Toisessa kerroksessa vasemmalla on kylpyhuone ja portaikko.
Koska sammakoilla on aika "rento" käsitys pukeutumisesta, heitä ei haittaa, vaikka kylvyn aikana joku vieraskin sattuisi kulkemaan portaita pitkin.
Kylpyammeen olen ostanut Saksasta. Tästä linkistä näet, minkävärinen amme oli ennenkuin maalasin sitä vähän valkoisella ja kullan värisellä maalilla.
Kukka on marketista ostetun tekokukan osa, minkä istutin mustaan muoviseen munakuppiin.

On the left, at the second floor is the bathroom and staircase.
Since frogs are pretty "relaxed" with dressing up, they do not mind, if during bathing a stranger happens to walk along the stairs.
I've bought the  Bathtub from Germany. From this link you can see how the color of the bathtub was before I painted it a little with white and gold paints.
The flower is a part of a artificial flower, I purchased from a supermarket, and which I planted in black plastic egg cup.

 Lavuaari on Ventoline -piipun korkki.
Maisema -tapetti on Marimekon kirjasta leikattu.

The sink is a cap from a Ventolin inhaler.
The wallpaper, Maisema is cut out from Marimekko's book.

Seinällä on Katin tekemä kesäinen maisema.
On the wall is a summerlike landscape by Kati.

Ykäsen Productions -hyllykössä on tarpeellisia pesuaineita ja tuoksuja jokaiselle. Vihreä purkki on Katilta ja sini-ruskea parfymipullo punaisella korkilla on Leenalta.
Uimalasit olen ostanut täältä.

The rack system by Ykäsen Productions, is offering the necessary detergents and fragrances for everyone. Green jar is from Kati and  the blue-brown parfym bottle with a red cap is from Leena.
I've bought the Goggles from here

Lavuaarin edessä lattialla on Droralta saatu matto.
Kylpyhuoneen lattia on askarteluliikkeestä ostettua paperia, minkä lakkasin kiiltävällä askartelulakalla.

In front of the sink, on the floor is the carpet from Drora.
The bathroom floor is a paper I bought from a craft shop in Oulu. I  painted it with varnish to make it look glossy.

Portaita pitkin pääsee joko ylöspäin (ensimmäinen kuva ylhäällä) tai alaspäin.
You can get upward (the first image above) or downwards walking the stairs.

  1. Kikka, this bathroom is so wonderful, I wish I had such a bathroom in RL. I really love that minimalistic summery landscape made by Kathi, it is absolutely beautiful! The goggles is another great detail, love it ;)! The floor fits very well in this room. I had to laugh about your "frogs, who are pretty "relaxed" with dressing up and do not mind, if during bathing a stranger walks along the stairs", that's great, love the humor :D!!
    Great work!

  2. What a wonderful bathroom - and so full with stunning decorations like for example the wall decoration from Kathi or extremely clever finds like the cap you've used as a sink. But somehow it's not surprising to me that the bathroom turned out that awesome because I had expecting a frog family would really appreciate a lovely bathroom. And good to learn they are relaxed with strangers walking along the stairs... *LOL*

  6. Wonderful bathroom! I love the floor and Kathi's wall decoration. I also love the tooth brushes which make me think - do frogs have teeth? I'm going to check.....

  7. I love this bathroom! All of the elements work so well together. The sink looks fantastic, and I will have to try this idea in one of my scenes. Your frogs must be thrilled with their big bathtub! xo Jennifer
