Nukkekotikerhollamme on vuosittainen näyttely jälleen Tornion kirjaston tiloissa. 

Vanha Vesilaitoskin on siirretty sinne ikkunaan ohikulkijoiden katseltavaksi.

Tervetuloa katsomaan!

Our Dollhouse Club has it's annual exhibition again in Tornio library. 

Old Waterworks is also there for the window passers to have a view.

Unohdin ottaa kokonaiskuvan talosta ennen ikkunaan laittoa, 

joten nämä kaksi kuvaa puolikkaasta talosta on otettu ikkunan läpi.

Vanha Vesilaitos 2.

Ateljee-verstashuone. Studio-workshop room .

Vanhan Vesilaitoksen alakerrassa, Art -Gallerian vieressä on Ateljee-verstashuone.  Galleriaa ja Ateljee-verstastilaa yhdistää moderni työpöytä ja tietokone.

On the ground floor in The Old Waterworks , next to the Art Gallery is a studio-workshop room. The Gallery and the studio-workshop-space are combined together with the modern desk and the computer.

Huoneen perällä vasemmalla on Ykäsen Productsin toimiva höyläpenkki.
The Nordic Workbench by Ykäsen Products, is on the left side at the back of the room 

Ikkunoiden välissä on vesipiste lavuareineen ja kaappeineen. Kaappi on "retroa" ja talon vanhaa jäämistöä.
Kauniin Auringonkukan on tehnyt Sirkka.
Oikealla on huovutuspiste. Pöytä on myös Ykäsen Productsin tuotantoa. 
Mäntysuopapullon on tehnyt Saara.

Between the windows is a water point with sink and lockers. The cabinet is 'retro' and from the old ages of the house. The Beautiful Sunflower is made by Sirkka. On the right there is the place for Felting hobbies. The table is also by Ykäsen Products. Saara has made the bottle of Soft-pine-soap.

Keskellä huonetta on työpöytä, missä on värejä, kyniä, pensseleitä, luonnosvihkoja ja juomavettäkin.

In the of  middle of the room there is a desk, where there are colors, pencils, brushes, sketchbooks and drinking water.

Oikealla on taulujen maalauspaikka, laatikot akryyli - ja öljymaaleille sekä pensseleitä.
On the right there is the place for the artist to make art, and boxes for acrylic- and oil-paints.

Ilmari pääsee myös huoltamaan Vespaansa työhuoneeseen! 
Ilmari can also take care of his Vespa at the workshop room

Ateljee-verstaassa on hyvä olla ensiaputarvikkeita...
It is good to have first aid supplies in the Studio-workshop ...

Vanha Vesilaitos 1.

Vanhasta vesilaitoksesta tuli Liisan ja Ilmarin Loft  "Vanha Vesilaitos".

Old waterworks become Liisa's  and  Ilmari's Loft  "Vanha Vesilaitos".

Kolme vuotta kestänyt rakennushankkeeni on valmistumassa. Seuraavissa postauksissa kerron tuloksesta ja prosessista.

Three years of the construction project is nearing completion. In my next posts I will tell You about the outcome and the process.

Art-Galleria.  Art-Gallery.

Art-Galeriassa on avattu ensimmäinen näyttely. Galleria sijaitsee Vanhan Vesilaitoksen alakerrassa.

The first exhibition is open at the Art-Gallery . The Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Old Waterworks. 

 Oikealla on Eileen Levy'n maalaus.

Penkillä oleva Lasilintu ja vasemmalla oleva värikäs maalaus ovat Kikan tekemiä. 

The Glassbird on the bench and the colorful painting on the left of are made by Kikka. 

Turkoosi Korvakoru -assemblaasi on myös Kikan tekemä.
 Turquoise Earrings -assemble is also made by Kikka .

Aurinkopullot.. The Sun-bottles

Helena Tynellin muotoilemat aurinkopullot ovat ehkä kaikkein 
kerätyin kotimainen lasiesineiden sarja. Virallisia kokoja on 4 
(12.5/17/23/32 cm) ja värisävyjä on useita. Minun Aurinkopulloni
on pienintä kokoa. 
 
Oli hauska tilata Saaralta Nukkekotiinkin samanlainen 
Minikoossa. Saara on tehnyt MiniAurinkopullon todella taitavasti!


The "Sun-bottles" designed by Helena Tynell are perhaps the most Collected
domestic glassware serie. There are four formal sizes of them (12.5/17/23/32 cm) and several shades of color. The size of my "Sun -bottle" is the smallest.

It was fun to order from Saara a similiar bottle to the Doll -house in Mini -size. Saara has made this Mini Sun -bottle really skilfully!

Sunflowers and Frogs. Auringonkukkia ja Sammakoita.

There was an information leaflet in our mailbox about a package, I should pick it up from the Post-office.  It was the Parcel from Sans ! Wow! She did sent some blog-friends her Van Gogh Sunflowers  for celebrating the Day 365, I was one of those lucky ones to get her flowers! :)

These Sunflowers are so sunny, I think they brought here some of the sunshine and warm weather from the country where Sans lives!  I Love Sunflowers!

And the Frogs... Yes, she did sent me these G o r g e o u s  FROGS also...

Mennessämme Pilkkireissulle ennätin tehdä joitakin hankintoja. 

Muottiainetta piti saada lisää, samoin joitain Fimo tarvikkeita.

Yhdestä kaupasta löysin ihan samannäköisen roskiksen kuin meillä on kotona :)

Mikroaaltouuni, Nalle, ämpäri ja vauvanukke.

Pari palaa nahkaa, jos innostuisi taas jotain kokeilemaan. Erityisempää huovutusvillaa pussi. Keltainen pyykkikori on suklaamunan sisältä.

When we were on our way to the Ice fishing trip I had a little time to make some purchases. 

Had to get some more of Mold-N-Pour, as well as some Fimo- accessories. From one special shop I found a pretty similar trashcan as we have at home

:) 

Microwave, Teddy, a bucket and a baby doll.

Two pieces of leather for trying something. A bag of special felting wool. Yellow laundry basket is from inside a chocolate egg.

 

Pääsiäisenä Pilkillä, Ice fishing during Easter

Mieheni sai syntymäpäivänään ystäviltään ennen Pääsiäistä Pilkkivarusteet. Nyt Pääsiäisen aikana niitä kokeiltiin joka päivä upeassa auringonpaisteessa.

My husband got Ice Fishing equipments from his friends before Easter as a Birthday-present . Now during the Easter holidays those equipments were tested every day, in the glorious sunshine.

Ice fishing is the practice of catching fish with lines and fish hooks or spears through an opening in the ice on a frozen body of water. Ice angler sits on the stool and waits for the F i s h !

 

Siinä saattoi nauttia luonnon hiljaisuudesta kaikessa rauhassa, ei ollut kiirettä mihinkään. Kalasaalis jäi kuitenkin aloittelijoilla aika pieneksi päivittäin, joten onneksi muutakin syötävää oli :) 

 We were able to enjoy the silence of nature in peace and quiet, had no hurry anywhere. Fish catch, however, remained quite low for a beginner daily, so luckily had more to eat :)
