Hei! Hi!

Mini -kirjat olen tehnyt tänä kesänä keskeneräiseen Lelukauppa projektiini. Kirjaprintit ovat Maria Malmströmin "Nukkekoti Väinölän tapaan" -kirjasta. 

Monta muutakin minitavaraa olen tehnyt, mutta kamerani on nyt huollossa, joten uusia kuvia ei tule noin kolmeen viikkoon. :(

I have made these mini books this summer for my unfinished Toyshop project. The minibook prints are from Maria Malmström`s book "Nukkekoti Väinölän tapaan". 

I have also made many other mini items, but can´t have photos taken during the next three weeks. My camera is now in service. :(

Reilun viikon verran ajeltiin ja katseltiin Suomea! Tavattiin sukulaisia.

Oli koleaa ja satoi, mutta oli myös lämmintä ja aurinkoista!

For over a week we went driving and viewing some areas in Finland. 

We met relatives!

The weather was chilly and it rained, but some days were warm and sunny ! 

Hämeenlinna, on yksi Suomen keskiaikaisista valtakunnanlinnoista. Häme Castle is one of Finland's medieval royal castles.

Porvoosta löysimme Nukkekotikauppa Riimikon juuri ennen sulkemisaikaa.

From Porvoo we found the Dollhouseshop Riimikko just a few minutes before its closing time.

 

Kirsikat kypsyvät pikkuhiljaa etelä-Suomessa.

The Cherries are getting ready little by little in southern Finland.

Ja lopuksi joitain pikkuhankintojani:

Punaiset muovirasiat ovat jostain Design -kaupasta. 

Riimikosta löysin nuken kärryt, pari lautasta ja kauhaa, enkelin ja pingviinin sekä pensselit lasipurkissa.

Tigeristä löytyivät Mininaamiot ja syksyn tunnelmia odottelevat minipallovalot.

The red plastic boxes are from a Desing store.

the tiny strollers, plates and spoons, an angel and a penguin as well as the brushes in a glasscan are from the Riimikko shop.

The colorful mini Masks and mini ball lights are from Tiger.

Kesäretki. Summer camping.

Erkki ja Jaakko ovat lähteneet pyöräillen kesäretkelle. 

Mukana on teltta ja makuupussit, ruokaa ja juomaa sekä yksi virveli ja kalastustarvikkeita. Meren rannalta he valitsevat maisema paikan teltalleen.

Erkki and Jaakko have left for summer camping with their bicycles .

They have the tent and sleeping bags, food and drink, as well as some fishing supplies with them.

They choose a good landscape spot for their tent.

Kun leiri on pystytetty, pojat lähtevät tutkimaan rantaa. 

Onko vesi lämmintä? 

On se... uimaan heti!

When the camp is fine and in order, the boys go on to explore the beach. 

Is the water warm?

O' yes it is... the boys want to go swimming!

Erkki näyttää uivan farkut jalassa, mutta se ei menoa haittaa!

Kyllä kesä on ihanaa aikaa!

Erkki seems to be swimming wearing jeans, but it does not matter!

 Summer is such a wonderful time!

Uusi nukke. A New Doll

Saanko esitella: 

Ann, hän on toinen itsetekemäni nukke!

Ja paljon on vielä nukentekemisessä opittavaa!

Ann on myyjänä yhdessä Starbucks-kahvilan yläpuolelle tulevista kaupoista. Olen pahoillani: nyt vielä hän on ilman vaatteita.

Tukan muotoilu oli haasteellista. Halusin hänelle ison nutturan.

Let me introduce you:

 Ann, she is the second doll I have made myself.

And there is so much to learn about the doll making!

Ann will be as a sales woman in one of the shops coming above the Starbucks coffee shop.

 I'm sorry: she is without her clothes now.
Hair design was a challenging. I wanted her to have a big bun.

Ulkoterassikin on käytössä, vaikka on vielä viimeistelyä vaille.

Outdoor dining terrace is also in use, although it is still missing the final touches.

Minikeramiikkaa. Mini ceramics.

Olin keramiikkakurssilla talvella ja tuossa kuvassa minikeramiikka kokeilujani. Tein nuo paperisavesta. Päälle laitoin vain kirkkaan lasitteen, koska halusin että lopputulos on valkoinen.

 

I was as a student at the pottery course during last winter. In the photo you can see my experiments in mini ceramic. I made these of paper clay. On the top of the pieces I put a bright glaze because I wanted the end result to be white.

Kevät näyttelymme. Our Spring exhibition.

Näyttelymme on Tornion kirjastossa kahdessa vitriinissä ja ikkunassa.
