Potkuri. A Kicksled.

 Eilen illalla Nukkekotikerhossamme oli aiheena Potkuri. Olipa se mielenkiintoinen projekti.

Ohjeina käytin 1/1 Potkurin kuvia ja mittoja sekä Maria Malmströmin kirjaa: Nukkekoti Väinölän vuosi. Jalakset on taivutettu tuulilasinpyyhkijän sulan sisältä löytyneestä metalliosasta. 

Yesterday evening at our Mini Club meeting the theme was: 

a Kicksled. It was a very interesting project. As a Quide we used 1/1 Kicksled photos and size/dimensions and also Maria Malmström's book: Nukkekoti Väinölän vuosi. The skids are taken from inside an used windscreen wiper.

Kesäretki. Summer camping.

Erkki ja Jaakko ovat lähteneet pyöräillen kesäretkelle. 

Mukana on teltta ja makuupussit, ruokaa ja juomaa sekä yksi virveli ja kalastustarvikkeita. Meren rannalta he valitsevat maisema paikan teltalleen.

Erkki and Jaakko have left for summer camping with their bicycles .

They have the tent and sleeping bags, food and drink, as well as some fishing supplies with them.

They choose a good landscape spot for their tent.

Kun leiri on pystytetty, pojat lähtevät tutkimaan rantaa. 

Onko vesi lämmintä? 

On se... uimaan heti!

When the camp is fine and in order, the boys go on to explore the beach. 

Is the water warm?

O' yes it is... the boys want to go swimming!

Erkki näyttää uivan farkut jalassa, mutta se ei menoa haittaa!

Kyllä kesä on ihanaa aikaa!

Erkki seems to be swimming wearing jeans, but it does not matter!

 Summer is such a wonderful time!

Siivouspäivä, The cleaning day.

Ystävien kanssa. With Friends.

Koulukaverit ovat tulleet katsomaan uutta taloa ja viettämään iltaa.

School mates have come to look at the new house and to spend the time together.

Vauvanruokaa. Baby food.

Yritin tehdä Vauvanruokapurkkeja Wirkkulan perheen vauvalle. Niiden kuvaaminen oli vaikeaa!

I did try to make some Baby food for the Wirkkula family Baby. It was difficult to get a photo of them.

Potkupuku. Romper.

Sammakkojen talo on vähän edistynyt! 

Rakennuttaja keksii uusia ideoita ja muutoksia alkuperäisiin suunnitelmiin koko ajan!  Ykäsen Products on talotyömaan urakoitsijana.

Viime viikonloppuna sammakkoperhe pääsi paikanpäälle tutustumaan ja haaveilemaan tulevasta.

Kuvassa näet perheen isän ( Olli Wirkkula) mittomassa tehtyä oviaukkoa. Yläkerrassa poika (Erkki Wirkkula) on innoissaan hypännyt tyhjään kylpyammeeseen ja eläytyy uimalasien kanssa tulevaan!

The Frogs house has progressed a bit! 

The developer gets new ideas and changes to the original plans all the time! The contractor of this house is Ykäsen Products

Last weekend, the frog family went to explore the building.  In the picture you can see the family's father (Olli Wirkkula) measuring the door opening. Upstairs, the son (Erkki Wirkkula) has jumped into the empty bath tub wearing swimming glasses and dreaming about the future!

Perheen äiti (Hilda Wirkkula) halusi kokeilla metallisia kierreportaita.

The mother (Hilda Wirkkula) wanted to try the metal spiral staircase.

Portaat? Stairs?

Sammakoiden taloa suunnitellessa juuduin  portaikko kysymykseen.

Täytyyhän talossa olla portaat! Erilaisten visioiden kautta päädyin tällaiseen kierreporras ideaan. 

Toinen mielenkiintoinen idea on Hissi! Miten tehdä toimiva hissi? 

When designing the whole idea of the Frogs house I got stuck into the question of the staircase. There is need for the stairs! With many different visions in my mind I ended up with this spiral staircase idea.

Another interesting idea is the elevator! How to make a working elevator?

Tästä se alkaa! And so it begins!

Ihana lämmin kesä on jarrutellut uuden talon tekoa, mutta tästä se lähtee! Sammakkoperhe Wirkkula odottaa jo innolla uutta kotiaan.

Talon lähtökohtana on kolme Alkosta saatua puista viinilaatikkoa. 

Yhden laatikon koko sisämitoiltaan on noin: 

Korkeus: 25cm, Leveys 30cm ja syvyys 17cm. Ideani tarvitsevat vähän lisää tilaa joka kerrokseen. :) Sitä täytyy tuumia ja suunnitella!

Laatikoissa on liukukannet, minkä avulla talon voi sitten tarvittaessa sulkea.

Lovely warm summer has made me slow in starting to make the new dollhouse, but here it goes! 

The Frog family, the Wirkkula's, are already looking forward to their new home. The house is based on three wooden wine boxes from Alko.

 The size of one box, with inside dimensions, is approximately: 

Height: 25cm, width 30cm and depth of 17cm. 

My ideas will need a little more space on each floor. :)  So, more thinking and planning!

The drawers have sliding lids, so if needed I can close the house.
